Your smile is important. It’s one of the first things you notice when you meet someone. A whiter, brighter smile is beautiful - it can help you feel better about yourself and make a memorable impression. We help you with your tooth whitening in our dental office at Kendall Park, NJ.

Tooth Whitening is one of the hottest procedures being offered today.

It is an in-office whitening system that is safe, effective and fast. In a little over an hour, your smile may become 6-10 shades whiter. A light is used to activate a gel that gently penetrates the teeth to remove stains.

How does the In-office system work?

The light activated whitening gel’s active ingredient is Hydrogen Peroxide. As the Hydrogen Peroxide is broken down, oxygen enters the enamel and dentin, bleaching colored substances while the structure of the tooth is unchanged. The light aids in activating the hydrogen peroxide and helps it penetrate the surface of the tooth. A study has shown that use of the lamp increases the effectiveness of the gel by 26% or more, giving an average improvement of up to eight shades.
